Overview

Our nutritionists will unravel the mysteries of weight loss and start you on the road to permanent weight loss/control. We will review your current eating habits and lifestyle needs in order to develop a personalized nutrition plan.  We individually tailor all programs to meet your needs and teach you to become independent and successful in your nutrition and lifestyle choices.  We will provide clear and practical information such as sample meal plans, overall nutritional goals and shopping lists.

Together we will formulate an eating plan that fits into your lifestyle, whether you like to cook gourmet meals, eat out every night or fall somewhere in between.

The Plan

Your individual weight loss nutrition plan begins with a 60 to 90 minute consultation to review your medical, nutrition, and diet history, and weight loss goals. You are encouraged to keep a 3-5 day food diary to determine your typical intake of overall calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat, fluids, vitamins and minerals. Follow-up appointments are 45-60 minutes, provide ongoing education based on your changing lifestyle and medical/health concerns, and include any of the following as appropriate:

  • Dining out guidelines
  • Eating during business travel and vacation
  • Goal setting
  • Holiday meal planning
  • Behavioral strategies
  • Exercise guidelines
