INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE (IBD)

IBD includes both Crohns disease and Ulcerative Colitis. They have much in common, including abdominal pain, diarrhea and inflammation, but may be differentiated by several factors including specific tissues affected. Nutrition management is paramount in the treatment of both.
