Jaime Hassenbein, RD, CDN *Great Neck location only
Jaime Hassenbein is a RD, CDN who joined Nutrition Energy in 2005. She combines her passion for health with her knowledge of food and nutrition in order to help others improve their quality of life and to achieve optimal health. While helping clients adapt to healthier eating habits, she also encourages them to make behavioral changes that will last a lifetime, Jaime also has extensive experience counseling clients for Weight Management (wt loss & weight gain), Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Eating Disorders, & Pre and Post Natal Nutrition including Gestational Diabetes. Prior to working at Nutrition Energy Jaime was a clinical staff dietitian for 5 years at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center.

SPORTS AND PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Jaime enjoys taking spinning classes, Pilates and weight training with a personal trainer at the gym. While not spending time with her husband and 2 children, she enjoys cooking and baking, using her skills to make healthier alternatives to some of her favorite meals. Jaime also enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending time with great friends and family.
PHILOSOPHY:
Jaime listens closely to each client’s needs and goals to create a sensible, lifelong approach to eating. This involves the inclusion of all food groups; there are no “bad foods groups”. However, the key to a successful lifestyle is moderation, portion control, and learning how to prepare your favorite foods in a healthier fashion. Trust, individual support and proper diet nutrition is the key to success in helping her clients meet their nutrition and fitness goals.
